A familiar cat mascot and a convincing logo can appear on a copied page. Before interacting with a download prompt, inspect the address. The useful question is where the page is hosted, not how closely its artwork resembles the brand.

Luck Party's official website currently describes browser access without a required download. A third-party page claiming that an APK is essential therefore deserves closer inspection. This article is about evaluating a suspicious link; the APK safety guide covers file-installation risks in more detail.

Read the address from the domain outward

Watch for added words, swapped letters, unexpected endings and long addresses that put a familiar brand name before an unrelated domain. For example, luckparty.com.example.invalid is not a page on luckparty.com. The brand text is only part of a longer address.

A connection lock indicates an encrypted connection. It does not prove that the page belongs to the company whose name appears in its design. When uncertain, close the page and type the known official address yourself.

Pressure is a reason to pause

A countdown, a warning that access will disappear, or an instruction to ignore a device warning should not replace verification. Be particularly cautious when a page asks you to allow installation from an unknown source or submit account credentials before revealing basic information.

Search ads, social posts and QR codes can all lead to external pages. Their placement is not evidence that a download is official. Check the destination even when a link was shared by someone you know.

Choose the next step based on what happened

  • You only opened the page: close it, do not grant permissions, and return through the known official address.
  • You saved a file but did not open it: do not install it. Remove the file if you cannot verify its source.
  • You installed something: stop using it, review device permissions and follow your device provider's security guidance.
  • You entered account details: use a trusted device and the official website to secure the account. Contact official support if you cannot regain access.

If you reused the same password elsewhere, review those accounts too. Avoid a second message offering to recover the account in exchange for credentials or a one-time code.

Keep evidence without sharing secrets

Save the suspicious address and the approximate time you saw it. A screenshot can help explain the issue, but cover any personal information before sharing it with official support. Do not forward the suspect file to other people as a way of asking whether it is safe.

For a normal access route, start with the Luck Party mobile-access guide. A legitimate support conversation should not require you to disclose your password.
